URETHYN XHD 2 |

| The latest development of Fuchs Lubritech is URETHYN XHD 2, a special grease for generators of wind power plants. It is a soft lubricating grease based on a synthetic hydrocarbon base oil and a highly temperatureresistant polyurea thickener. A selected additive package provides excellent wear protection, even under fluctuating speeds, temperatures and loads. URETHYN XHD 2 is used for the lubrication of plain and antifriction bearings that are running under extreme operating conditions. It is especially suitable for the lubrication of bearings that are subject to vibrations, oscillations and shock loads.

Its technical details include:
 high-temperature lubricant for long-life lubrication of bearings at high temperatures, loads and speeds, e.g. in generator bearings;
be used in a temperature range from -30 to ≤180oC, and in the short-term up to >200°C
NLGI grade 2 consistency;
classification of KPFHC 2R-30 according to DIN 51 502 (German Standard);
extraordinary thermal stability;
high oxidation stability;
pumpable in automatic lube systems;
reduces the operating temperature;
decreases wear rates;
increases the degree of efficiency;
good pumpability in automatic lube systems.
